Heavenly Pair

This piece is inspired by a specific black-and-white celestial pair from popular culture, but you don't have to get the reference to appreciate these cats. I had a lot of fun with this one, because I didn't know exactly how I wanted it to look when I started it. I had the reference photo of the black and white cats, but other than that, I just ran with what my mind suggested during the process. It didn't even start out as a pop culture reference! But once I added the wings, I knew exactly what I was doing.
