Lesbi-Kitty Magnet

I painted a few queer magnets to sell during Pride Month, and they did well! I had this photo of a tiny orange lesbian kitten in my inspo folder for over a year and I just couldn't wait to paint her. She was purchased by a lesbian friend of mine, so I know she went to a good, gay home.

My sunset lesbian flag colors aren't as true-to-source as I'd like but I am working from a limited set of markers. Finding the right colors for shading is always one of the most difficult parts of a painting, and I've never been able to find good dark pinks in any set of paint markers I've owned. That's something to fix in the future. All in all, I think it reads as the lesbian flag, and that's what matters.

The image in this project is not a raw scan, obviously, and that's because my scanner really blew out the light colors in it and I had a hard time restoring them. Also, of course, it's not a square magnet, and I wanted to put some color around it.

Almost titled something similar but different, but I don't identify as a lesbian anymore so I can't say that word. I want y'all to know the vision, though.
