Hella Queer Cat

My very first cat painting! I was inspired by the meme image of the exasperated-looking cat with the big yellow sticker that says "HELLA GAY" on it, slapped onto its forehead. The cat looks so done with everything!! Me too!! I decided to change the language from "GAY" to "QUEER" to be more inclusive, and added the Gilbert Baker pride flag as a sort of Rainbow Road in the background.

The yellow of the sticker did NOT get picked up correctly by the scanner, but I'm committed to unedited pictures of my art, so have a... gold? queer sticker.

Painted in 2025 with acrylic paint markers on an 11x14" canvas panel.
