Hella Queer Cat
My very first cat painting! I was inspired by the meme image of the exasperated-looking cat with the big yellow sticker that says "HELLA GAY" on it, slapped onto its forehead. The cat looks so done with everything!! Me too!! I decided to change the language from "GAY" to "QUEER" to be more inclusive, and added the Gilbert Baker pride flag as a sort of Rainbow Road in the background.
Painted with acrylic paint pens on an 11x14" canvas board.
